A well earned rest.

Challenge 2010 Saturday 11th September

Over 90 people arrived at West Fleet holiday farm on Saturday, despite the weather being a little inclement (misty and damp!).

Half way (Hardyes monument) everyone enjoyed a lunch of ham or cheese rolls (supplied by Weymouth Deli), homemade cake, snacks (donated by Bookers and Dorset Cereals), tea and coffee (doanted by Clipper) .

Back at West Fleet everyone tucked into something and chips after collecting their certificates. Cup for the highest fundraiser to yet be awarded as their were several very closely pledged amounts. Total amount pledged on the day was £6,500, we are confident that the final figure will exceed this and will keep you updated in due course.

Thank you to all the walkers who took part and good luck with collecting in your sponsorship.

A special thank you to West Fleet holiday farm for allowing us to use their wonderful facilities as avenue and for donating the meals to the charity.

Dorset Search and Rescue did a fantastic job supplying first / backmarkers and Stella Hayward riding for the disabled volunteers did a great job marshalling. A final thank you to all the other volunteers who took part.

The End!!
